This tiny practical chair, called the clip chair, is designed by Blasius Osko and Oliver Deichman for the companu Moooi. It is made of beech, has a solid frame and it can be folded. It has a story how the designers drew inspiration.

While the designers were visiting a Bulgarian Market, they noiced a small basket which could be folded. Single strips were beaded on ropes so that 2 hinged surfaces were formed. These surfaces could be turned into a 3 dimensional object.

After then the designers Blasius Osko and Oliver Deichman deciced to improve this simple but surprising system in both visual and technical fields so that this foldable lounge chair was created.

When it is open you have a wide seating place with great comfort. The simple design of the chair makes it more aesthetic in the modern design fashion.

This little chair has the following dimensions ; 28.1″ x 33.5″ x 25.6″d; seat height: 11.8″

The Clip Chair is available in three colors; black, white, or weng’e. On the other hand the price of 1.139,00 USD might be expensive for many people.
